Football Season Ticket Information
The 2026 season marks a brand-new chapter under new Head Coach Alex Mortensen leading the Blazers — and season tickets are on sale now! Season tickets are the most cost-effective way to support UAB Football and experience all six home games at Protective Stadium.
Protective Stadium will be the place to be as the Blazers kick off their home schedule with two non-conference matchups against ULM and a Birmingham showdown against Samford. UAB will also be hosting four conference opponents this fall -- Navy, ECU, Charlotte, and UTSA.

Blazer Boosters
All support designated to the Blazer Scholarship Fund, both scholarship seat fees and philanthropic gifts, are used to supplement the cost of student-athlete scholarships provided by UAB Athletics (currently over $8 Million annually). The continued investment in our Blazer student-athletes allows them to have a world-class experience during their time at UAB. Blazer Boosters members make an impact on over 450 student-athletes from the time they step on campus through the Blazer Scholarship Fund, Capital Initiatives and Sport Specific Giving.
Blazer Boosters scholarship seats fees will be included on your 2026 Season Ticket Renewal invoice. Your 2026 Blazer Boosters renewal statement is forthcoming and will also include a summary of your past philanthropic support to UAB Athletics.
Season Ticket Holder Parking Information
Season parking passes are available exclusively to season ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff. Tailgate areas will open six hours before kickoff for all home games throughout the season.
Season ticket holders are eligible to purchase parking passes in designated season ticket holder lots. Priority parking is also available in premium lots, with eligibility determined by the patron’s Blazer Scholarship Fund giving level for the 2026 giving year. Season parking for the 2026 season is $120.00 and will be selected during the seat selection process beginning in April 2026.
Tailgating Options for the 2026 Season
Red Rooftop Tailgating:
The Red Rooftop is located south of the stadium behind the Westin Hotel. The Red Rooftop Tailgate lot provides Blazer fans with the opportunity to setup their own personal tailgates with the best views of Protective Stadium and downtown Birmingham. Each space is the width of three traditional parking spaces and provides fans with the ability to park their car and still have plenty of space for their traditional tailgate setup. Tailgate spots are assigned, and the lot opens 6 hours prior to kickoff.
Green Lot Tailgating:
Located east of the stadium and just south of Top Golf, the Green Lot tailgate spaces provides Blazer fans with the opportunity to setup their own personal tailgates right in the middle of the pregame festivities. Each space is the width of two traditional parking spaces and provides fans with the ability to park their car and still have plenty of space for their traditional tailgate setup. Tailgate spots are assigned, and the lot opens 6 hours prior to kickoff.
Alumni and Employee Discounts
UAB Alumni and Employees are eligible for a 10% discount on both Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets. This 10% discount is applied to the season ticket portion and does not reduce any scholarship seat fees required for priority seating locations. Employee Payroll Deduction
UAB Employees are eligible to pay for their Blazer Boosters contributions, UAB Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets through payroll deduction. Season tickets and annual Blazer Boosters memberships can be paid via payroll deduction and employees can reach out to the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at
