New Season Ticket Holders
Fans who purchase their seats prior to the April 1, 2024 UAB Football Priority Seat Deadline will be assigned a seat selection appointment time. Seat selection appointment times are assigned based on the Blazer Boosters Priority Point System. These times will span throughout the months of April and May starting April 15, 2024. During the 3D seat selection and relocation process, fans will be able to view and select available seating and parking options for the 2024 season. Fans will be able to keep these seats in future years as long as they renew by the April 1 deadline. The seats will be in your account next year and you will have the option to keep or upgrade these seating locations moving forward.
Blazer Boosters
All support designated to the Blazer Scholarship Fund, both scholarship seat fees and philanthropic gifts, are used to supplement the cost of student-athlete scholarships provided by UAB Athletics (currently over $8 Million annually). Your gift to the Blazer Scholarship Fund directly impacts over 450 Blazer student athletes and fortifies the foundation of support on which we position UAB Athletics to compete at the highest level of college athletics. Your Blazer Boosters contribution towards the Blazer Scholarship Fund is vital to the pursuit of our mission to Win Championships, Graduate with Honors, and Make a Difference.
Season Parking Available for Purchase
Season parking passes are available to season ticket holders and is first come, first served. Season parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff for weekday games, and 6 hours prior to kickoff for all Saturday games. Tailgate areas open six hours prior to kickoff all season long!
Season ticket holders will be eligible to purchase season parking passes in designated lots for season ticket holders. Priority parking lots are also available and season parking passes can be selected in these premium lots based on the patron’s designated Blazer Scholarship Fund giving level. The premium parking lot is determined by your Blazer Scholarship Fund contribution for the 2024 giving year. Season parking for the 2024 season is $120.00 and pass locations will be chosen during the seat selection process, starting April 15, 2024.
Traditional Tailgating Options for the 2024 Season
Red Rooftop Tailgating:
Previously known as the Gold Rooftop, the Red Rooftop is located south of the stadium behind the Westin Hotel. The Red Rooftop Tailgate lot provides Blazer fans with the opportunity to setup their own personal tailgates with the best views of Protective Stadium and downtown Birmingham. Each space is the width of three traditional parking spaces and provides fans with the ability to park their car and still have plenty of space for their traditional tailgate setup. Tailgate spots are assigned, and the lot opens 6 hours prior to kickoff.
Green Lot Tailgating:
Located east of the stadium and just south of Top Golf, the Green Lot tailgate spaces provides Blazer fans with the opportunity to setup their own personal tailgates right in the middle of the pregame festivities. Each space is the width of two traditional parking spaces and provides fans with the ability to park their car and still have plenty of space for their traditional tailgate setup. Tailgate spots are assigned, and the lot opens 6 hours prior to kickoff.
City Walk BHAM Turnkey Tailgating Option for the 2024 Season
New for the 2024 season, City Walk BHAM Tailgating packages will be available for purchase on a season and single game basis. Make your gameday smoother by renting a tailgating space that comes set up and ready for you! All you need to bring is your food, drinks, and BLAZER SPIRIT!
Tailgate packages through City Walk BHAM include:
Accommodations for 15-25 people
20 x 20 reserved space in the fenced "Lake Lawn"
1 City Walk 10 x 10 tent
10 City Walk bag chairs
1 8ft folding table
1 110-quart cooler stocked with ice - bring your own beverages
1 season parking pass in City Walk BHAM Orange Block parking
Electricity to the tent
Access to cash bar on Lake Lawn
City Walk will handle all set up and tear down of equipment
Season Cost for City Walk BHAM Tailgate Package: $1,370
Game-by-Game Cost for City Walk BHAM: $270
Extra Individual Items will be available to add on to the tailgate package.
Turnkey tailgating is sold through City Walk BHAM and can be purchased after completing your season ticket purchase.
Alumni and Employee Discounts
UAB Alumni and Employees are eligible for a 10% discount on both Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets. This 10% discount is applied to the season ticket portion and does not reduce any scholarship seat fees required for priority seating locations. Employee Payroll Deduction
UAB Employees are eligible to pay for their Blazer Boosters contributions, UAB Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets through payroll deduction. Season tickets and annual Blazer Boosters memberships can be paid via payroll deduction and employees can reach out to the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1 for more information. Parking and any other additional items are not eligible for payroll deduction.
